The counter is 8" wide and with the ledge it becomes 8-1/2" wide It connects and makes a 5-1/2" counter on the right side that connects to the back counter to make a 8-1/2 " counter including the ledge with a glass shelf inside it the back 7". The top back has a couple of very small indentions but the top shelf sits on it and it will not be see plus with paint and sanding I don't think it will cause any problems but want the buyer to know that they are there. The top unit has a mirrored back and plexiglass clear shelfs. It is 8" wide by 1" deep.

Tip: Unfinished wood item & all other wood pieces should be sealed or primed before being painted, unless being stained.
