The surname of Thomas I. Chippendale is largely identified with the particular style of his furniture made famous by his work. A 1754 book of his designs, which was widely referenced by furniture craftsmen of the day, testifies to his many influences, including rococo, Gothic revival and Chinese motifs. Circa 1750-90. This kit arrives unfinished and unassembled
